Early Year Practitioner (Level 3) - Hamilton Academy

Hamilton Academy is looking to employ a suitably qualified Early Years practitioner to support pupils in our friendly and popular Nursery for two days per week as part of a job share with another member of staff.

Term time only: Yes

Salary type: Bucks Pay

Salary Details: Actual Starting Salary £6,972 (2 days per week)

Contract type: Permanent

Hours: Part-time

Hamilton Academy is a split-site, multicultural primary school with friendly supportive staff and happy well-motivated children. The school operates a Nursery with places for 30 pupils during normal school term times. We are committed to raising standards and giving all our children the opportunity to develop as individuals. The role will involve supporting our Nursery pupils under the direction of the Nursery Leader.

The successful candidate will work as part of a small team to ensure all children attending the setting receive high quality care, are kept safe and are provided with planned and stimulating play experiences which meet their individual needs and support all aspects of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) curriculum.

About you

Applicants will need to be able to demonstrate they have the experience and/or skills to support pupils in class and through individual or small group interventions. It is essential that candidates have passed a relevant Ofsted approved Early Years qualification at Level 3 or above.

Applicants will also need to demonstrate that they have strong communication skills, are positive, flexible in attitude and approach, as well as being able to use their own initiative.
