A local government authority in the United Kingdom is seeking a part-time Early Support Officer to coordinate support for children and families. The ideal candidate will have a degree in a relevant field and strong communication, analytical, and organizational skills. Responsibilities include monitoring support interventions and working collaboratively with community professionals. The Early Support Service has a strong local and national reputation for ensuring children and families can access the right support at the right time through a robust stepped approach to services and support. We have a permanent, part time (30 hours per week over four days) Early Support Officer to join our service. The post is countywide and may require working across the five districts and boroughs, supporting Community Lead Professionals in response to service needs for allocated periods. The role also involves working as part of Family Connect (Warwick) as duty Early Support Officer responding to queries and escalation of needs on a rotational basis. The successful candidate will have a sound understanding of Warwickshire\'s Spectrum of Support to ensure needs of children are supported appropriately and information for referrals and support services is presented clearly. The post holder will coordinate Early Support, working closely with Children and Families teams and a range of stakeholders including statutory partners, service providers, the voluntary sector, children, young people and families. This is a time of embedding Families First teams to support young people in the County. Our approach is locality based, with multi-disciplinary and multi-agency teams that support the whole family and build strong partnerships with local services, Health, Police and Education.
