Job summary

Qualifications

  • MSc or equivalent in Civil/Geotechnical Engineering, Ocean/Offshore Engineering, Applied Mechanics, Naval Architecture, or related discipline.
  • Strong numerical and computational skills essential.
  • Proficiency in Python, MATLAB, or C++ for data analysis, automation or ML.

Responsibilities

  • Undertake high-quality research within the MSCA Doctoral Network POSEIDON.
  • Develop data science and ML approaches for large environmental datasets (geospatial, weather, tide).
  • Collaborate with academic and industrial partners across the EU and undertake international secondments.
  • Contribute to the training objectives of the project and to offshore wind research.
