Job summary

Tesco Colleague role in the Barnstaple area requires early shifts starting at 04:30 and ending by 12:00, with a guaranteed minimum of 12 hours per week. You will support customers, handle checkout, shelf replenishment, online orders, and general store duties as part of an inclusive team.

You’ll benefit from Tesco’s pay rates (£13.28/hr, rising to £14.55/hr in M25 stores), holiday allowance, life cover, a pension, and staff discounts. Training and progression opportunities are available.

Qualifications

• Over 18 to apply.
• Able to work in a fast-paced store environment.
• Willing to work varied shifts, including early mornings.

Responsibilities

• Provide friendly, natural service and get to know customers.
• Be confident with products and offer help when needed.
• Support across the store: shelf replenishment, checkout, online order picking, occasional delivery assistance, and general duties.
• Make customer-focused decisions and complete key store routines.
• Support great service, strong sales, waste reduction and overall store performance.
