Job summary

WHSmith Travel in Norwich is seeking a 12-hour Sales Assistant on a set three-day pattern with early starts (Sunday, Wednesday and Saturday at 5am). Flexibility is required to cover sickness/holiday and seasonal peaks from May to October when airport flight schedules change.

You will deliver excellent customer service, restock shelves, maintain attractive displays and work well in a team or alone. Airport requirements include 5 years of continuous references, a CRB check and photographic ID.

Qualifications

• 5 years continuous references – to gain an airport pass you will need 5 years of references (employment or education) without gaps.
• Criminal Records Bureau Check – to be completed by WHSmith if your application is successful.
• Photographic ID (passport or UK Driving Licence).

Responsibilities

• Deliver exceptional customer service to all customers.
• Carry out stock replenishment and keep store tidy and inviting.
• Meet high standards of display and visual merchandising to help customers find items easily.
• Be part of a team and support colleagues.
