Job summary

Smiths News Drivers in Exeter area is seeking a self-employed driver to pack newspapers and magazines, follow a daily route and deliver to around 20–30 customers each morning. You will also collect returns and scanning at the depot, starting at 3:00am and working through a seven-day roster.

Ideal candidates hold a valid UK/EU driving licence and have access to a 3.5T van (1050–1200kg). Start-up support and weekly payments are offered, with onboarding completed in three days.

Qualifications

• A valid UK or European Driving Licence.
• Access to a 3.5T van with a carrying capacity between 1050kg and 1200kg (route dependent).
• No van? We can help point you in the right direction.

Responsibilities

• Packing newspapers and magazines ready for delivery.
• Following a dedicated daily route.
• Delivering to approximately 20-30 customers.
• Collecting returns and recycling bags.
• Scanning returned products back at the depot.
