Job summary

Mitie Group plc. is hiring a Cleaner in Selby to deliver consistent, high-quality cleaning services. The role is part-time (12 hours per week) with a 6am shift pattern from Monday to Saturday at the Co-Op site in Selby.

You will be responsible for maintaining equipment, following schedules, and ensuring safety and SLA compliance. Strong reliability and basic English communication are required, with flexibility and a proactive attitude.

Responsibilities

• Ensure equipment is kept clean, well maintained, and in safe working order.
• Meet all agreed SLAs and follow cleaning schedules.
• Build knowledge of the designated cleaning area and understand cleaning equipment and chemicals used.
• Follow Health and Safety requirements and complete all required training.
• Work effectively within a team and independently, delivering excellent customer service.
