Early-Morning Cleaning Operative

Job summary

OCS UK & Ireland is hiring a Cleaning Operative to help maintain safe, clean environments across our sites. You will perform hands-on cleaning tasks in early morning shifts, including tidying work areas, floors, and washrooms, with attention to safety records and training as required.

The role requires a phone to clock in via Timegate and good customer-facing skills if you meet people on site. Previous cleaning experience is beneficial, but full training is provided.

Qualifications

• Must have the right to work in the UK.
• Smartphone required to clock in and use Timegate app.
• Cleaning background is advantageous, but full training provided.
• Attention to detail and thoroughness in completing tasks.

Responsibilities

• Tidying up work areas, cleaning floors and communal areas.
• Physical tasks with standing for periods; vacuuming, sweeping, mopping, bin emptying, washroom cleaning as needed.
• Assist customers if site cleaning is in public spaces and respond to queries or incidents.
• Complete all Health & Safety records and attend training when needed.
