Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver engaging, creative, and effective lessons in line with the national curriculum.
- Set high expectations that inspire, motivate, and challenge all pupils.
- Assess, monitor, and record pupils' progress, providing regular feedback to support their learning.
- Create a safe, positive, and inclusive learning environment.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues, parents, and carers to support pupils’ development and well-being.
- Participate in staff meetings, training, and wider school activities.
- Engage fully with the school\'s ECT induction programme and mentoring support.
- Uphold school policies, including safeguarding and behaviour management.
Person Specification
- Essential:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or working towards completion
- Strong subject knowledge and understanding of the primary curriculum.
- A passion for teaching and commitment to high standards of learning and achievement.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Reflective practice and a willingness to learn and develop.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
