Job description
Responsibilities
  • Assessing and monitoring learner progress & performance in line with frameworks/standards and legislative requirements to ensure occupational competence.
  • Delivering outstanding teaching, learning and assessment practices that engage and inspire learners to fulfil their individual potential and develop the skills, knowledge and behaviours to successfully progress within the business.
  • Developing learners that are innovative thinkers and creative problem solvers, through designing and delivering learning content as part of a blended learning pedagogy focused on delivering vocational excellence.
  • Effective recording / reporting of performance data in support of delivery outstanding outcomes for learners.
  • Providing and monitoring the effective safeguarding, SHE, welfare and support arrangements for learners whilst on Early Careers & Skills programmes.
  • Assisting in the recruitment and selection of learners.
  • Effective coaching and mentoring skills.
  • L3 electrical qualification.
Qualifications

Required:

  • L3 electrical qualification.

Desirable:

  • Assessor Award qualification.
  • Good IT skills in particular MS Office.
  • Knowledge of apprenticeship schemes.

All applicants must as a minimum achieve Baseline Personnel Security Standard. Many roles also require higher levels of National Security Vetting where applicants must typically have 5 to 10 years of continuous residency in the UK depending on the vetting level required for the role, to allow for meaningful security vetting checks.
