Job summary

Manpower UK seeks an experienced HGV Class 1 Driver for a Tamworth-based logistics operation. The role starts at 02:30am, Monday to Friday, with a pay rate of up to £20 per hour. Deliveries go to a dealership in Leatherhead, involving cages and palletised goods.

Ongoing work offers the potential for permanent placement for the right candidate. Applicants must hold a valid Class 1 (C+E) licence, Driver CPC and Digital Tachograph Card, with up to 6 points and no disqualifications.

Qualifications

• Must hold a valid Class 1 (C+E) licence.
• Must have Driver CPC and Digital Tachograph Card.
• Minimum 12 months' Class 1 driving experience preferred.
• Maximum of 6 penalty points.
• No DD, DR, IN, or CD endorsements.
• Able to perform manual handling tasks.

Responsibilities

• Deliver automotive parts and components to a dealership in Leatherhead.
• Handle loads consisting of cages and palletised goods.
• Complete delivery paperwork and vehicle checks.
• Ensure deliveries are made safely, professionally and on time.
• Occasionally undertake collections from Crick and Daventry and other ad hoc duties.
