Manpower UK is recruiting a Class 2 Driver for the West Thurrock site (RM20 3AW). The role involves delivering goods from distribution centres to customers, working as part of a distribution team and reporting to a Line Manager. Expect 48 hours per week with start times between 04:15 and 06:00.

You must hold a valid Class 2 licence, Driver CPC and Tachograph card, and have experience with multi-drop deliveries. The job offers weekly pay and potential progression from temp to permanent.

Qualifications

• Current and valid Category C Driving Licence (no more than 6 points)
• Current and valid Driver CPC
• Current and valid Digital Tachograph Card
• Class 2 Driving experience, 2 years minimum preferred
• Basic numeracy and literacy skills
• Forklift licence (B1 Counterbalance) desirable
• Experience of multi-drop deliveries

Responsabilités

• Deliver goods to customers safely, on time and in full, following all legal and company requirements
• Work closely with Warehouse, Transport and Office teams to ensure smooth daily operations
• Support yard and loading activities as required
• Complete multi-drop deliveries while maintaining high customer service standards
• Carry out vehicle checks, maintain vehicle cleanliness, and report defects or incidents promptly
• Adhere to Working Time Directive, driver hours, health and safety, and company policies
• Handle delivery issues professionally, escalating to Transport or Customer Service as needed
• Act as a role model by working safely, respectfully, and with integrity
• Support continuous improvement and assist with training new team members as required
