We are currently expanding at a phenomenal rate – on the back of what is our record year in terms of revenue (over £930m) - and so are looking for outstanding individuals to join our dedicated Head Office team, to help the company continue to flourish.

About the Role

The head of business development is to coach, develop, grow and manage an expanding team. This role will be responsible for creating a high performing team and achieving the budget for new client acquisition, whilst retaining and growing the Business Development organisation.

As Head of Business Development, you will be responsible for:

  • Monthly reporting on new client acquisitions and trading to Head of Corporate & MD
  • Managing team performance to achieve individual and team goals
  • Providing continuous improvement to sales processes
  • Developing a relationship with TC community to place new business
  • Being inclusive of TCBDM community
  • Collaborating with recruitment using new client acquisitions to aid recruitment of corporate TCs
  • Developing B2B annual marketing plan with Head of Brand and Head of Corporate
  • Assisting with client proposals, presentations and exhibitions
  • Ensuring brand positioning in market through product launches, client forums/events and social media
  • Leading the collaboration of international markets

Key Skills:

  • Leadership - Proven track record of leading and growing high performance sales teams
  • Organisation - Be generous with time to coach the team, whilst being across new business trading and conversions from the team
  • Integrity - Operate ethically at all times, resolve conflict of interest in a fair and equitable way for all parties
  • Business Travel Experience - Understanding of competition, technology and industry challenges and opportunities
