Are you a Facilities and Workplace leader?

How does working for a vibrant FTSE 250 business sound managing their whole Facilities, Workplace & Real Estate operations?

This role will allow you to lead on major projects such as office relocations, refits, workplace experience, ESG, expansion planning and office culture which already has an exciting future ahead - especially in the next 5 years starting with a brand new London office and fit out!

This business grows year on year and has no signs of slowing down with already 2500 employees across 8 offices.

Location: (*The base location is shown as London but we could consider people also living close to: Manchester, Birmingham, Leeds & Bristol).

We don't want to bore you too much with the detail, but here's a taste of what you'll be doing:

  • Responsible for the Property & Facilities strategy and execution of the plan. Working to 3-5 year cycles, taking input from business stakeholders about property requirements
  • Manage the team responsible for day-to-day activities such as maintenance, repairs, catering, cleaning, security, vehicle fleet, reception etc.
  • Take the lead on property asset management, relocations, disposals and lease renewals
  • Work with 3rd party suppliers where required e.g. design of new offices
  • Manage the multi-million pound budget efficiently, working closely with Finance
  • Make sure our offices are modern, comfortable and safe working environments for our internal colleagues and external partners
  • Take the Facilities lead on requirements relating to business ESG and sustainability objectives and initiatives

So, what are we looking for in a successful applicant?

  • An exceptional and proven leader with extensive experience in office-based Property Management at the most senior level
  • Put employee experience and customer service at the heart of decision-making
  • Experience leading internal teams and managing external suppliers, including strong negotiation skills
  • Ability to define and drive long-term strategic programmes to agreed outcomes and timeframes
  • Excellent budget management skills and strong commercial acumen
  • Good at communicating to a wide range of stakeholders, both verbally and written
  • Structured, organised, analytical and detail-oriented
