About Our Client

A membership body with over 11,500 members worldwide in the field of science, working with 17 specialities.

Job Description

* Line management of the team of 6 to provide direction and support

* Operational responsibility for delivery of IT/AV services for College users

* Management of delivery of AV support provided for Events (including occasional requirement for direct client support on event days)

* Programme management for the implementation phase of the College's new CRM platform (a Project Manager is in post for project management role itself)

* The visible support and expertise for IT/AV and technology for College SMT, Trustees and staff.

The Successful Applicant

  • Qualified to degree level in Computer Science, IT Management, or Information Management, or with equivalent experience
  • Comprehensive knowledge of information systems, networks, IT/cybersecurity, operating systems, Database (incl. SQL), PC, Software as a service (SAAS) provision and telecommunications technology and systems
  • Experience and knowledge of managing Windows based systems, Microsoft365 and supporting a wide range of users with these and associated applications
  • Experience and knowledge of managing cloud hosted (Azure) systems and supporting associated business applications and solutions
  • Experience in implementing and supporting CRM solutions for organisations
