Job Title: Customer Account Manager

We are seeking a skilled Customer Account Manager to join our global direct sales team at insightsoftware. This role reports to the Senior Divisional Vice President and focuses on managing and expanding customer accounts for our BI and Data connectivity products across EMEA and APAC. The ideal candidate will have expert knowledge of Business Intelligence solutions and proven experience in acquiring new clients before transitioning into Account Management. Responsibilities
  1. Retain and grow your customer base across EMEA and APAC.
  2. Build strategic, long-term relationships with corporate leaders in your territory.
  3. Nurture and expand relationships with existing customer accounts.
  4. Develop and execute sales strategies to meet and exceed sales targets through prospecting, qualifying, managing, and closing opportunities.
  5. Maintain a robust sales pipeline to achieve revenue goals consistently.
  6. Engage in proactive prospecting via phone, email, marketing campaigns, referrals, etc., coordinating with marketing to qualify leads.
  7. Coordinate resources, including product support and sales engineering, throughout the sales process.
  8. Present value propositions and negotiate deals with key clients and senior executives.
  9. Manage customer data and report on pipeline and forecasts using Salesforce.
  10. Stay highly informed about company products and target industries to support sales efforts.
  11. Communicate effectively with management, customers, and support teams.
  12. Participate in team activities, including strategy, sales training, marketing, and customer care.
  13. Apply a consultative approach to diagnose customer needs.
  14. Close deals and acquire new customers.
Qualifications
  • Experience selling embedded analytics, Business Intelligence, and reporting tools into the enterprise space.
  • Proven ability to generate new business (new logos) before moving into Account Management roles.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment with disciplined activity planning.
  • Excellent communication skills, including cold calling, proposals, and presentations.
  • Energetic, driven, committed, and passionate.
  • Relevant bachelor’s degree or work experience.
