Electrical Engineer

As an Electrical Engineer, you will report to the Supervisor / Contract Manager and serve as the primary liaison between the business and our clients. Strong written and oral communication skills are essential, along with a high level of technical expertise in the electrical industry. Working hours are Monday to Friday from 08:00 to 17:00, with weekend work and overtime available upon request.

Main Duties:

  1. Carry out electrical maintenance, repairs, servicing, inspecting, and testing
  2. Diagnosing and rectifying faults
  3. Carry out electrical remedial works
  4. Undertake new electrical inspections
  5. Action reactive electrical works
  6. Complete emergency lighting inspections and repairs
  7. Carry out company works as required and to desired standards
  8. Provide the highest level of customer care and always promote a positive external image of the company
  9. Comply with company procedures and policies to ensure the smooth delivery of our service
  10. Produce reporting on time and to agreed standards
  11. Adhere to the company's quality management system and recycle correctly and responsibly

Experience & Skills:

  • UK Driving Licence (required)
  • Experience in electrical repair, maintenance, servicing & installations, preferably within the public sector
  • A sound knowledge of tools, equipment & materials common to the Electrical Trade
  • Current Trade Qualifications
  • Good communication skills, both verbal & written
  • The ability to interpret schematics and electrical drawings
  • IT literate
  • A commitment to great customer service
