The Role:

An international, progressive art and design collective in east London are looking to hire a Senior Project Manager to join their vibrant and friendly team. You will be working within a small team, reporting to the head of department and managing a wide-range of artist design projects.

This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced PM who understands both the technical & creative sides of projects and is looking to expand their career with in a thriving business. Within this role, no two days will be the same; you will be the ‘go-to’ client liaison, managing a variety of projects with the opportunity to travel across the UK & Europe. The ideal person for this role will have knowledge, understanding and passion for the design, architecture, and arts industries.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Serve as the primary client & supplier liaison throughout project lifecycles
  • Ensure projects are completed within allocated budgets and timelines
  • Prepare comprehensive cost documents
  • Simultaneously manage multiple projects of varying budgets
  • Negotiate pricing agreements with suppliers
  • Regularly update the directors on budgetary matters
  • Keep project team in the loop of key milestones and progress updates
  • Collaborate with leadership to allocate design resources effectively
  • Offer guidance on project feasibility and execution strategies
  • Source all necessary products and materials
  • Coordinate site visits and disseminate relevant information internally
  • Oversee on-site installations, ensuring smooth execution

Key Skills:

  • Design-related education background with a creative mindset
  • Demonstrated track record in project managing diverse projects of varying scales and disciplines
  • Proficient in client account management
  • Proficient in InDesign, Excel, and good working knowledge of CAD software
  • Experience working with projects of large scale budgets
  • Strong organisational abilities with a commitment to delivering quality work
  • Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written
  • A committed, passionate and confident personality
