We're Hiring: Soft FM Category Manager

Location: Flexible - South of England

Type: Full Time, Permanent

Salary - £70,000-£75,000 (plus car and bonus)

About the Role

As the Soft FM Category Manager, you will play a pivotal role in managing spend and supplier bases, ensuring the effective deployment of Soft FM solutions across global operations. You'll collaborate with stakeholders across multiple sectors/functions, manage key suppliers, and lead a dynamic team to deliver outstanding business outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and lead category management strategies for Soft FM sub-categories, from creation through to delivery of business outcomes.
• Oversee sourcing projects, ensuring effective execution within Soft FM, and approve key gates in the sourcing process.
• Build and manage strong senior supplier relationships to drive value, performance, and risk mitigation.
• Contribute to bids by offering category insight, ensuring competitive supply chains and mitigating risks.
• Coach and lead the category team, enhancing procurement capabilities across the board.

What You Need

• Proven success within large, complex procurement organizations.
• Extensive experience in Soft FM category management and supplier relationships.
• Strong contract knowledge, especially English contract law and negotiations.
• Excellent business acumen with a track record of driving change and delivering results.
• Strong planning, analytical, and decision-making skills with a keen eye for detail.
