Key Responsibilities:

  1. Reviewing and upholding security across services running on AWS and within Linux
  2. Actively reviewing and implementing resilience and continuity/DR
  3. Implementing production and dev environments for new clients
  4. Representing the production considerations through solution planning, design and implementation phases, standups, retrospectives etc.
  5. Migrating older environments to our latest setup, without significant downtime
  6. Overseeing the move of all our production databases into Kubernetes (EKS)


  1. To be ready to help inform, shape and run a dependable, attentive, approach to site reliability engineering
  2. A depth of ability with developing and running production services on AWS and with EKS
  3. Solid technical abilities in automation, Terraform, Kubernetes admin and Linux
  4. Experience in provisioning and managing SQL and NoSQL database architecture, including backup/restore provisions
  5. A readiness to grow into improving security, resilience, reducing vulnerabilities
  6. An appreciation of CI/CD principles
  7. Optionally, some Azure admin skills
  8. Curiosity, pragmatism, open-mindedness, adaptability and resourcefulness
  9. Excellent listener and able to relate to a wide range of stakeholders
