Full time, permanent

Salary: £65-85K DOE

Our client, Aran Fire Protection Ltd (part of the New Path Fire and Security Group), is a progressive fire protection company specialising in passive fire prevention. They provide a range of services including fire stopping, fire barriers, surveys, fire door installation and maintenance, fire damper installation and door condition reports and maintenance. Their core values of integrity, quality of service and teamwork have rewarded them with clients across sectors like healthcare, education, historic or commercial properties.

They are currently looking for a proven and professional Director of Sales And Business Development to strengthen their successful leadership team. You will be responsible for the overall management of long-term sales and business development of the business, but this also may include the integration of further passive fire acquisitions.

Director of Sales And Business Development, the role:

  • Managing strategic Business Development – brand and market positioning
  • Overseeing tendering and bid writing
  • Leading the sales team and process management
  • Supervising proposition management
  • Developing pricing strategy
  • Building and maintaining strong relationships with key clients and stakeholders
  • Liaising with the Managing Director and New Path board on a regular basis

Director of Sales And Business Development, the applicant:

  • Previous experience within a similar role
  • Proven track record of delivering step change in revenues
  • Able to review contractual conditions
  • Familiarity of working with IT based surveying and quoting tools/systems
  • Experienced in completing large tenders for the construction industry
  • Possess a strong sales drive and very target focused
  • Outstanding leadership and team development capabilities
  • Ambitious, dynamic and self-motivated individual
  • Confident operating at and reporting to board level
  • A technical understanding of Passive Fire knowledge is desirable
