Job description

The London studio of this global and award winning architecture and design practice are searching for a talented Bid Manager to join their team.

You will work closely with the sector leads on local marketing strategy and target clients and project pursuits. You will have the opportunity to lead on local practice implementation, working with sector specialists on practice related marketing collateral, project photography and content and public relations.

In terms of projects you will focus health and hospitality bids for the UK and EMEA region.

Hybrid and work form home options are on offer.

Key Responsibilities

  • Work closely with studio/sector leaders to support their business development programme
  • Work with with practice specialists on pursuits and projects within the region
  • Track BD efforts
  • Produce materials such as case studies, project imagery and external communication
  • Manage and create regional RFQ, RFP and interview materials
  • Act as a liaison for internal and external communications of local marketing news and developments
  • Coordinate local conference attendance
  • Track local project milestones for grand openings, groundbreakings, completion, photography, etc.
  • Track local award submission platforms desired by location, identifying projects
  • Manage and prepare qualifications packages, proposals submissions and interview collateral
  • Create, maintain and update marketing resource materials working with the marketing resource manager

Skills and Experience

  • Degree in Journalism, Graphic Design, Marketing or related discipline
  • Typically with 5+ years of bid/marketing experience
  • Proficiency in InDesign and experience in Photoshop and Illustrator graphic software preferred
  • Knowledge of and interest in architecture/interior design
  • Strong writing skills with experience in graphically designed page layouts
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to interact with all levels of staff and customers; ability to forge trusting relationships within a diverse team
