A local educational institution in Accrington is seeking a motivated E Learning Junior Technologist to enhance the experience of students and teachers using E-Learning technologies. The successful candidate will work closely with the E-Learning Team, developing knowledge, supporting staff, and creating resources. The role requires a relevant IT qualification and a passion for education. This is a maternity cover position offering a generous benefits package and a supportive work environment.
Salary: Up to £25,075.32 per annum depending on experience
Hours: 37 hours a week
Weeks Per Year: Full Year

An exciting opportunity has become available for a highly motivated, innovative and enthusiastic Junior Learning Technologist to join our Learning and Development Team on a temporary basis covering maternity leave, working 37 hours per week. You will be at the forefront of enhancing students and teachers' knowledge and skills through E‑Learning technologies. No expert knowledge of the technologies we use is required; a basic knowledge of computing and IT and a keen desire to learn and develop is sufficient. This job offers opportunities to develop your knowledge in content creation within the E‑Learning field, attend training and events, and cascade skills to teachers and students. Good written and verbal communication and time management are essential to this role. The successful candidate will be primarily based at Accrington & Rossendale College but may be required to travel across sites.
