Overview

Job title: E&I Technician
Job Type: Permanent
Start date: Subject to Clearance
Salary Range: up too 45,000 per annum + Regular Overtime
Benefits Package: General holiday allowance, Life Insurance, Matched contribution pension scheme
Location: Cumbria
Full Site Based/Hybrid/Remote Working? Fully site based/5 days per week
Hours of work: 40 hours per week + Regular overtime

Responsibilities
  • Work to maintain instructions and record information accurately
  • Conform to local procedures, rules and working practices to ensure compliance with specified regulatory and customer requirements
  • Provide technical advice, updates on work progress and other relevant information to customer as required
  • Act as a mentor for other team members as required, including apprentices and new entrants to department to ensure standards and best practices are maintained
Qualifications/Experience
  • Apprenticeship or equivalent training in relevant discipline (e.g. Electronic, Electrical, Instrumentation, Technology fields)
  • Knowledge and understanding of conventional and nuclear safety
  • Proven experience of servicing electronic instrument systems
  • 5 GCSEs (at Grade C or above) including English, a Science subject, and Maths at minimum of Grade B

The successful candidate must be able to achieve and maintain Security Check (SC) security clearance for this role
