About the Role:

OMG are leaders in the FMCG and commerce media industry and we are looking for an organised and proactive individual to join our In-Store media commerce team working across a number of industry leading brands.

The shopper media manager plays a crucial role in developing and maintaining our key clients by ensuring client satisfaction, driving the successful execution of media campaigns and contributing to the overall growth and success of our client accounts.

You will be responsible for day-to-day management and execution of the In and around store team, driving the creation of effective and creative work and delivering exceptional client service. Reporting into the In and Around store Client Leadership Associate Director/Director, you will have ownership of campaign development and implementation, working closely with specialists throughout the agency and being a key client contact.

Key Responsibilities
  • Planning In and around store campaigns using shopper and commerce data
  • Analysing and pulling retailer and shopper data (and overlaying with wider market trends) to develop and build In and around store campaigns broken down by media format with rationale included, connecting these shopper and commerce customer plans with wider commerce and marketing activity to ensure campaigns are fully integrated.
  • Understanding clients KPIs and objectives and building shopper and commerce campaigns in PowerPoint and Excel which meet these objectives, within the permitted budget and seeking feedback and approval internally and from the client.
  • Managing deadlines, store lists and creative artwork with FMCG clients and retail media networks including Tesco, Sainsbury’s, Asda, Morrisons and Co‑op, ensuring clients expectations are met and exceeded through proactive communication about their campaigns.
  • Providing implementation plans, building shopper and commerce campaigns from scratch on internal tools, coordinating with internal teams and external agencies, and monitoring campaign performance through key metrics.
  • Building and managing client relationships: serve as a main point of contact for clients and stakeholders, building and maintaining strong, long‑lasting relationships; understand clients’ business goals, challenges and competitive landscape to provide strategic media advice; collaborate with the wider client and specialist teams to ensure all campaigns deliver to client objectives and are planned, implemented and reported upon effectively; monitor campaign performance, analysing key metrics to provide insights and recommendations for optimisation; work closely with cross‑functional teams to ensure seamless execution of media plans and alignment on campaign goals and deliverables; prepare regular reports on campaign performance, using data analytics to measure the effectiveness of media strategies and identify areas for improvement, highlighting key insights and outcomes; provide support and guidance to junior team members, helping to foster a collaborative team environment; help train and mentor junior team members.
  • Staying on top of industry trends: ensuring you stay on top of industry news and insights which are relevant to In and around store media and wider commerce marketing.
Skills and Experience
  • You possess a strong understanding of retail media planning, buying and performance analysis with knowledge of digital, traditional and emerging media channels.
  • You have a proven track record of managing client accounts and delivering successful media campaigns.
  • You have excellent spoken and written communication skills with proven expertise in presentation storytelling to deliver impactful, persuasive proposals to clients.
  • You can develop and implement strategic media plans using media planning and analytics tools with strong attention to detail.
  • You stay informed about emerging technologies, including AI and are open to exploring how automation and AI tools can enhance creativity, performance and efficiency in media.
  • You have strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
  • It would be preferable if you have worked within a retail media network but not necessary to be successful in this role.
