Job summary

Veriforce is recruiting a Dynamics Developer in Cardiff to design, build and support Microsoft Dynamics 365 solutions across the organisation. You will work closely with senior developers and architects to deliver high quality business solutions and expand expertise in Dynamics 365, Power Platform and related Microsoft technologies.

This hands‑on role focuses on building, testing, and supporting solutions while exploring AI-enabled features.

Qualifications

  • Experience developing or supporting Microsoft Dynamics 365 (CRM) solutions.
  • Experience with .NET, C# and JavaScript development.
  • Experience creating or modifying Dynamics 365 customisations, plugins and workflows.
  • Understanding of REST APIs and system integrations.
  • Experience with Power Platform including Power Automate and Power Apps.
  • Understanding of relational databases and data modelling concepts.
  • Strong problem solving and analytical skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a development team.
  • Excellent communication and willingness to learn.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain Dynamics 365 solutions, including customisations, plugins and workflows.
  • Configure and customise Dynamics 365 using Power Platform technologies (Dataverse, Power Automate, Power Apps).
  • Support integrations with Azure services and third‑party systems.
  • Participate in full software development lifecycle (design, development, testing, deployment).
  • Assist with troubleshooting and resolving application issues.
  • Work with stakeholders to understand requirements and deliver solutions.
  • Produce and maintain technical documentation.

The Dynamics Developer role is responsible for developing, configuring and supporting Microsoft Dynamics 365 solutions across the organisation. Working closely with senior developers and architects, the role will contribute to the delivery of high‑quality business solutions while developing technical expertise across Dynamics 365, Power Platform and related Microsoft technologies.

This is a hands‑on development role focused on building, testing and supporting solutions while gaining experience in modern platform capabilities, including AI‑enabled features where appropriate.

What that means day to day
  • Develop and maintain Dynamics 365 solutions, including customisations, plugins (C#), JavaScript, workflows and integrations.
  • Configure and customise Dynamics 365 using Power Platform technologies including Dataverse, Power Automate and Power Apps
  • Support the development and maintenance of integrations with Azure services and third‑party systems.
  • Participate in the full software development lifecycle including design, development, testing and deployment.
  • Assist with troubleshooting, investigation and resolution of application issues.
  • Work with business stakeholders and senior team members to understand requirements and deliver effective solutions.
  • Produce and maintain technical documentation.
  • Support testing and quality assurance activities to ensure reliable and maintainable solutions.
  • Collaborate with developers, architects and business teams to deliver enhancements and improvements.
  • Continuously develop technical skills and knowledge of Dynamics 365, Power Platform, Azure and AI related technologies.
  • Identify opportunities to improve processes, automation and user experience through platform capabilities.
  • Support the adoption of AI‑enabled features within Dynamics 365 and Power Platform where appropriate.
What you’ll need to be successful

Essential:

  • Experience developing or supporting Microsoft Dynamics 365 (CRM) solutions.
  • Knowledge of .NET, C# and JavaScript development.
  • Experience creating or modifying Dynamics 365 customisations, plugins and workflows.
  • Understanding of REST APIs and system integrations.
  • Experience with Power Platform, including Power Automate and Power Apps.
  • Understanding of relational databases and data modelling concepts.
  • Good problem‑solving and analytical skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a development team.
  • Strong communication skills and willingness to learn from others.
  • Enthusiasm for Microsoft technologies and continuous professional development.

Desirable:

  • Experience with Azure services such as Functions, Service Bus or Logic Apps.
  • Experience with Power BI.
  • Experience integrating third‑party solutions.
  • Experience working within Agile delivery environments.
  • Understanding of DevOps/ Github, source control and CI/CD practices.
  • Awareness of AI-enabled capabilities within Microsoft Dynamics 365 and the Power Platform.
