A leading global consulting firm is seeking a D365 Finance & Operations Platform Owner to drive the strategic management of its financial systems. This hybrid role requires hands-on D365 experience and the ability to lead ERP migrations, optimize performance, and manage integrations for new acquisitions. As our D365 F&O Platform Owner, you'll be the strategic driver behind how we leverage Microsoft's powerful platform across our growing group of businesses. You'll shape the product roadmap, lead system optimization initiatives, and play a pivotal role in integrating newly acquired businesses onto our D365 solution. This isn't a support role—it's a strategic position where your decisions will directly impact how efficiently we operate and scale.

Strategic Platform Leadership
  • Own the D365 F&O product roadmap and drive platform strategy aligned with group objectives
  • Identify opportunities within Microsoft's ecosystem to enable new functionality and business benefits
  • Lead ERP enhancement projects from conception through to successful go‑live
System Excellence
  • Configure modules, permissions, and workflows to optimize performance
  • Plan and coordinate release cycles, upgrades, and feature rollouts
  • Monitor system performance and eliminate inefficiencies through continuous improvement
Acquisition Integration
  • Execute finance system integrations for new acquisitions within defined timelines
  • Migrate financial data and configure reporting structures for newly acquired entities
  • Ensure seamless data transfer and system connectivity across the group
Data & Integration
  • Own data governance standards across the D365 F&O platform
  • Structure data to enable future AI and automation capabilities
  • Maintain data integrity across all finance systems and integrations
Stakeholder Enablement
  • Build strong relationships with finance, technology, and business stakeholders
  • Deliver training and technical support to maximize user competency
  • Create comprehensive documentation and standard operating procedures

Role: D365 Finance & Operations Platform Owner | Location: Hybrid (South Coast) | Salary: Up to £65,000 per annum. On‑site requirement: 1–2 days a week on‑site a month (covered).
