Job summary

Conspicuous is seeking a Senior Dynamics 365 Business Central Developer to join our Northamptonshire team. You will develop and customize BC solutions, translating functional requirements into technical implementations.

You should have strong AL development skills, experience with BC upgrades and data structures, and the ability to work independently or with consultants and clients on complex projects.

Qualifications

• Strong experience developing within Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central.
• Proficient in AL development and BC extensions.
• Experience with upgrades, migrations and customisations.
• Understanding BC architecture and data structures.
• Ability to translate requirements into technical solutions.
• Experience in partner or consultancy environments preferred.
• Full UK driving licence preferred for site work.

Responsibilities

• Develop and customise Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central solutions.

• Build bespoke functionality and extensions to meet client requirements.
• Support Business Central upgrades, migrations and implementations.
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues across existing client environments.

• Work with integrations and data flows between Business Central and other systems.
• Produce clear technical documentation for developments.
• Support both new and existing client projects.

Requirements

• Strong commercial experience developing within Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central
• Good knowledge of AL development and Business Central extensions
• Previous experience working with Dynamics NAV would be beneficial
• Experience with Business Central upgrades, migrations and customisations
• Strong understanding of Business Central architecture and data structures
• Ability to interpret functional requirements and develop effective technical solutions
• Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
• Comfortable working independently as well as collaboratively with consultants and clients
• Previous experience within a Microsoft Partner or consultancy environment would be advantageous
• Full UK driving licence preferred due to occasional client-site requirements

We are an established Microsoft Dynamics partner with a growing team in Northamptonshire. We work across a varied client base, from smaller organisations using standard cloud solutions to larger businesses running complex, highly customised Business Central environments. This is a permanent, full-time role offering a salary of up to £75,000 plus benefits, depending on experience. The position is initially onsite near Northampton, with the opportunity to move to a hybrid working model after six months.
