Job summary

Tesco is hiring a Warehouse Operative at our Doncaster distribution centres. No prior warehouse experience is needed, and you’ll receive full training to get you started.

You’ll play a key role in assembling orders, picking stock, keeping the warehouse tidy, and helping ensure safety and high standards across receiving, storage, packing and transport. You’ll work as part of a busy team and deliver great customer service in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Having a key role in supporting store colleagues by ensuring orders are assembled accurately.
• Picking and manually handling stock.
• Maintaining a clear and tidy warehouse and addressing hazards safely.
• Ensuring stock is received, stored, packed and transported to high standards.
• Taking ownership for personal and others' safety.
• Using tools provided and training material effectively.
• Using Mechanical Handling Equipment efficiently.
• Working both independently and as part of a team.
