Qualifications

• Holds a teaching related qualification.
• Has relevant school experience.
• Has up to date industry knowledge.
• Holds Level 2 Numeracy and Literacy qualifications.
• Can motivate and inspire learners.
• Has experience in delivering engaging teaching sessions.
• Has strong IT skills and uses online teaching tools effectively.
• Has high levels of motivation and can use own initiative.
• Open to feedback and committed to learning and growth.
• Holds an assessor qualification.
• Experience in further education.
• Knowledge/experience in early years or willingness to develop.
• Leadership experience in a school.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality engaging online training sessions.
• Prepare for individualised training sessions.
• Utilise online tools to enhance learning experience.
• Provide a supportive learning environment.
• Promote positive behaviour during sessions.
• Identify learner starting points and tailor sessions.
• Encourage participation and discussion.
• Support embedding English, maths, and safeguarding into sessions.
• Provide feedback surveys to learners post-session.
• Deliver career information and welfare sessions.
• Ensure correct information and guidance at the beginning.
• Provide feedback to tutoring staff.
• Maintain communication with the curriculum manager.
• Attend CPD and Standardisation events.
• Monitor attendance records and manage own diary.
• Ensure Outlook calendar is current.

Teaching related qualification

Relevant school experience

Up to date industry knowledge

Level 2 Numeracy and Literacy qualifications
