• Strong classroom management and communication skills are required.
• Able to work collaboratively with colleagues and support staff.
• Full driving licence is essential.

Responsibilities

• Teach students aged 5-16 with complex MLD and additional needs.
• Plan and deliver differentiated lessons tailored to individual learning needs.
• Support pupils with their academic, social, emotional and personal development.
• Work closely with Teaching Assistants and the wider school team.
• Adapt teaching strategies and resources to meet a range of learning needs.
• Monitor and assess pupil progress and contribute to individual education plans.
• Create a positive, structured and inclusive classroom environment.
• Build strong, trusting relationships with pupils and maintain high expectations.
