Job summary

Zest Education Ltd in Staffordshire is seeking a confident Cover Supervisor to work across secondary schools in the region. This full-time role offers a competitive daily rate depending on experience and requires the ability to supervise classes and deliver pre-planned lessons.

You will manage behaviour, support students to complete work, and contribute to a safe, positive learning environment. A recent school-based background and a willingness to obtain an enhanced DBS clearance are preferred.

Qualifications

• Recent school-based experience within last 5 years.
• Experience in supporting learning and classroom activities.
• Willing to obtain enhanced DBS and safeguarding clearances.

Responsibilities

• Supervise classes during short-term absence of teachers.
• Deliver pre-planned lessons and keep students engaged.
• Manage classroom behaviour according to school policies.
• Support students to complete work set by staff.
• Create a positive, safe, productive learning environment.
