As a Cover Supervisor you will supervise classes, deliver pre-prepared lessons, and maintain a calm, productive learning environment while building positive relationships with students and staff. Previous secondary school experience is essential.

Qualifications

• Must hold a 1st-Class or 2:1 in their relevant degree.
• Experienced working with secondary-aged students (essential).
• Organised, reliable and able to work independently.
• An excellent communicator who builds positive relationships with young people.

Responsibilities

• Supervise classes in the absence of their regular teacher
• Deliver pre-prepared lessons and ensure students remain focused and engaged
• Manage classroom behaviour in line with the school's behaviour policy
• Support students with their learning and encourage positive participation
• Build positive, professional relationships with students and staff
• Provide feedback to teachers on student engagement and behaviour where appropriate
• Contribute to the wider school community and uphold its values
