Job summary

Teaching Personnel, in partnership with a welcoming mainstream secondary school in Clitheroe, Lancashire, is seeking a dedicated General Science Teacher to join their department on a full-time basis. The role covers KS3 and KS4 with planning, preparation and marking responsibilities, delivering engaging lessons and monitoring pupil progress.

QTS is required; strong behaviour management and ability to teach Biology, Chemistry and Physics at KS3 with at least one KS4 science specialism are

• Experience teaching Science in a secondary setting.
• Ability to teach Biology, Chemistry and Physics at KS3, with at least one KS4 science specialism.
• Commitment to planning, marking and supporting pupil progress.

Responsibilities

• Teach General Science across KS3 and KS4.
• Plan, prepare and mark work in line with school policies.
• Deliver engaging, high-quality science lessons to support pupil progress.
• Monitor and assess student achievement and collaborate with the science department.
