TeacherActive Ltd is seeking a dedicated Teaching Assistant for regular supply work across multiple welcoming primary schools in Newark, NG24. The role offers on-site, part-time hours with potential for a long-term booking.

You will support different classes, assist with lesson prep, and help pupils with individual and small-group activities. Applicants should have UK primary school experience, a relevant TA qualification or suitable experience, and an Enhanced DBS with Update Service.

Formación

• Experience supporting children in UK primary schools.
• A relevant Teaching Assistant qualification or suitable experience.
• Understanding of the UK primary curriculum.
• Enhanced DBS with Update Service.
• Strong communication and behaviour management skills.
• Proactive, reliable and adaptable approach.
• Commitment to safeguarding and supporting every pupil.

Responsabilidades

• Support teachers with classroom activities and lesson preparation.
• Work with pupils individually and in small groups.
• Adapt support to meet different learning needs, including SEND.
• Encourage pupils’ confidence, independence and engagement.
• Follow school behaviour policies and promote positive conduct.
• Help maintain a safe, welcoming and inclusive classroom.
