Job summary

Supply Staff Ltd in Croydon is seeking experienced Primary Teachers to work across EYFS, KS1 and KS2 in local primary schools. You will plan and deliver engaging lessons, maintain high standards of behaviour and learning, and adapt teaching to pupil abilities.

This long-term and day-to-day supply role offers reliable daily pay, enhanced DBS support, and a dedicated consultant to assist you throughout placements, with ongoing safeguarding training and strong school partnerships.

Qualifications

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or recognised teaching qualification.
• Previous experience teaching within a primary school.
• Strong classroom and behaviour management skills.
• Good knowledge of the primary curriculum.
• Experience supporting pupils with SEN would be ideal.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or willingness to apply.
• Commitment to safeguarding and child protection.

Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver engaging lessons across the primary curriculum.
• Teach across EYFS, KS1 and KS2 depending on experience.
• Maintain strong classroom and behaviour management.
• Assess pupil progress and adapt teaching where required.
• Support pupils with SEN and additional learning needs.
• Build positive relationships with pupils and staff.
• Follow school policies and safeguarding procedures.
