Job summary

Teaching Personnel is seeking a passionate Performing Arts Teacher to join a welcoming mainstream secondary school in Rochdale. You will plan and deliver engaging Performing Arts lessons across the secondary age range, helping students develop confidence, creativity and stage skills.

• Experience delivering Performing Arts in UK schools.
• Ability to plan engaging lessons across secondary stages.
• Strong background in Drama, Theatre, Performance and/or Dance.

Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver engaging Performing Arts lessons across the secondary age range.
• Teach Drama, Theatre, Performance and/or Dance depending on experience.
• Develop students' practical performance and theoretical knowledge.
• Differentiate lessons to meet varying abilities.
• Prepare students for performances, assessments and exams.
• Maintain high standards of behaviour and engagement.
• Collaborate with colleagues across the school.
• Encourage confidence, creativity and self-expression.
• Contribute to the wider Performing Arts life, including productions.
