Job summary

Tradewind Recruitment is seeking qualified PE teachers for flexible daily supply and longer-term roles in Bury and across Greater Manchester. You will teach PE in secondary schools, with responsibilities including delivering lessons, managing classes and ensuring safety.

QTS or QTLS and safeguarding compliance are essential. Roles vary from daily supply to longer-term placements, with in-house payroll and CPD support.

Qualifications

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or Qualified Teacher Status with a licensure to teach (QTLS).
• Experience teaching PE in a secondary school setting.
• Strong classroom management and safeguarding knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Deliver PE lessons as provided by the school.
• Manage students and ensure equipment and spaces are safe and tidy.
• In long-term roles, plan lessons, prepare resources and assess students.
