Airbus Operations Limited in the Gloucestershire area seeks a fully qualified Patent Attorney to advise on patentability, conduct inventor interviews, and manage drafting, filing and prosecution across technology portfolios, with ownership of content aligned to business strategy.

You will support freedom-to-operate analyses and coordinate external patent counsel to ensure timely, high-quality work, with opportunities for international mobility in a global aerospace group.

Qualifications

• Fully qualified and registered UK Chartered Patent Attorney and/or European Patent Attorney.
• Proven experience providing advice in Intellectual Property (IP).

Responsibilities

• Provide advice to inventors on patentability and cross-examination of inventors; drafting, filing and prosecution of patent protection; manage portfolio strategy and geographical scope.
• Advise on freedom-to-operate risks and pre-dispute work.
• Management of external patent counsel to deliver on time, quality and cost.
