Job summary

The Production Technician at Harrow Council will deliver high-quality technical production and event support across the London Borough of Harrow’s Cultural Service. You will plan and execute production requirements for a diverse programme, ensuring safety and quality from set-up to de-rig.

Working with artists, hirers and contractors, you will provide expert lighting and sound support, maintain equipment, and uphold excellent customer service, helping to create engaging, safe experiences for

Qualifications

Motivated self-starter with excellent communication, able to work with visiting professionals.
Experience of technical production theatre including stage management, lighting and sound.
Knowledge of licensing, accessibility, and health and safety procedures for performances.
Customer care awareness and ability to work with diverse clients and stakeholders.
Interest in the arts.

Responsibilities

Plan, coordinate and deliver technical production requirements for events.
Provide expert technical production support across outdoor events, festivals and performances.
Deliver high standards of customer service to venue hirers, performers and stakeholders.
Ensure production equipment and systems are operated and maintained; manage set-up to de-rig.
