Job summary

Queen Mary University of London is seeking a Lecturer in Physical Geography and Environmental Science on a one-year fixed-term teaching and scholarship contract based at Mile End Campus. The post involves teaching undergraduate and postgraduate modules and contributing to curriculum development.

You will hold a PhD in Geography or Environmental Science and demonstrate excellence in teaching, student support and supervision of dissertations.

Qualifications

PhD in Geography, Environmental Science or equivalent.
Track record of high-quality educational delivery.
Effective communication skills and commitment to student experience.
Ability to teach undergraduate and postgraduate modules and supervise dissertations.

Responsibilities

Teach undergraduate and postgraduate modules in physical geography and environmental science.
Develop and deliver curriculum including field-based and methodological teaching.
Supervise dissertations and provide academic advising.
Contribute to the intellectual life of the School and student education experience.
