Job summary

Connex Education Partnership is working with secondary schools in Cardiff to recruit experienced cover supervisors or degree-qualified individuals who are passionate about starting a rewarding career in education. This long-term role runs five days per week and starts September 2026, offering valuable school-based experience while supporting teachers and pupils during staff absences.

Responsibilities include covering KS3–KS4, providing updates to the teacher, and upholding school policies.

Qualifications

• Experience as a cover supervisor or similar role in schools.
• Degree-qualified individuals encouraged to apply.
• Commitment to safeguarding and supporting pupil learning.

Responsibilities

• Cover lessons across KS3 and KS4 in place of the subject teacher.
• Provide updates to the class teacher and highlight behaviours.
• Follow school policies to ensure a smooth learning experience during staff absences.
