Job summary

Term Time Teachers are seeking a skilled Information Technology Teacher to join our established IT and computing department in Tonbridge. The role focuses on practical IT skills, digital systems and real-world technology applications, preparing students for further study and modern careers.

Responsibilities include planning, delivering and assessing IT lessons up to KS5, with emphasis on practical skills; they will cover digital literacy, networking, cybersecurity, databases, and systems

Qualifications

• Degree in Information Technology, Computing, or a related field.
• Teaching qualification (e.g., PGCE, QTS) preferred.
• Experience teaching IT or Computing at secondary or post-secondary level.

Responsibilities

• Plan, deliver, and assess IT lessons up to KS5 with a focus on practical digital skills.
• Teach topics including digital literacy, networking, cybersecurity, databases, and systems architecture.
• Introduce students to software applications, web technologies, and collaborative platforms.
