Qualifications

• A recognised teaching qualification and experience teaching History across KS3 and KS4.

• Effective classroom management and high expectations of pupil progress.
• Commitment to safeguarding and willingness to complete relevant pre-employment checks.

Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver engaging History lessons across KS3 and KS4.
• Develop pupils skills in evidence analysis, historical interpretation and argument writing.
• Adapt teaching to support different learning needs.
• Assess progress and provide constructive feedback.
• Encourage curiosity, discussion and independent thinking.
• Collaborate with colleagues and contribute to the wider humanities department.
