Zusammenfassung

Sandwell College in England is seeking a Lecturer in Health and Social Care to join our dedicated team. This full-time, permanent role involves delivering high-quality education, curriculum development, and strong pastoral support to help learners progress to higher education or employment.

You will work with colleagues and healthcare partners to inspire learners and deliver engaging teaching across the Sandwell College campus.

Qualifikationen

• A degree and/or relevant professional qualification in Health and Social Care, Nursing or a related subject.
• A Certificate in Education or Level 5 Teaching Qualification.
• Experience of delivering teaching, learning and assessment at FE level.
• Experience of teaching Pearson BTEC and/or NCFE Health and Social Care qualifications.
• Experience developing engaging teaching and learning resources.
• Experience providing pastoral support and monitoring learner achievement.

Aufgaben

• Deliver outstanding Health and Social Care programmes as directed by the Head of Section.
• Plan, prepare and deliver engaging lessons that inspire and motivate learners.
• Contribute to curriculum planning, development and quality improvement.
• Take responsibility for course delivery, course tutorship and personal tutoring.
• Develop learning resources using ILT and multimedia platforms.
• Monitor learner progress and provide pastoral support to achieve outcomes.
• Maintain accurate records using College systems.
• Support expansion of Health and Social Care provision with partners.
