Job summary

Virgin Active Northampton seeks a dynamic Level 2 qualified fitness instructor to lead engaging group classes at our Collingtree Park clubs. You will design meaningful programs, deliver them with energy, and represent the Virgin Active brand in all client interactions.

You will also coach teammates, participate in quality assurance, and collaborate with the Head of Exercise Experience on programming and promotional initiatives to grow our fitness services and member satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Level 2 fitness instructor qualification or ETM Level 2 required, plus Aqua or Zumba qualification.
• Aligned experience in your teaching formats and ability to create meaningful programs.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills with members and staff.

Responsibilities

• Deliver classes across clubs with confidence and a following.
• Receive coaching and feedback through QA assessments.
• Deliver signature programme in Virgin Active brand wear.
• Deliver training for specialized areas after initial months.
• Assist Head of Exercise Experience with QA and live assessments.
• Coach and provide feedback to team members when appropriate.
• Contribute to programming development and refreshes.
• Collaborate with Head Office and regional managers on PR/Marketing strategies.
• Establish and manage your social media profile following company guidelines.
