Job summary

Qualifications

• QTS or QTLS status (ECTs/NQTs and experienced practitioners encouraged)
• Geography degree or related discipline required
• Proven track record teaching Geography within UK Secondary Curriculum
• Enhanced DBS on Update Service or willingness to process one

Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver engaging physical and human Geography lessons across KS3 and KS4
• Assess student work, track progress, and provide constructive feedback to boost achievement
• Foster a positive, inclusive and high-energy learning environment
• Guide students through target grade criteria and key exam techniques
• Collaborate with secondary Humanities teams to enrich the curriculum
