Job summary

The Method Gym in Walton-on-Thames, Surrey is seeking a motivated Fitness Coach to join our award-winning independent gym. You will deliver engaging group classes, adapt exercises for different abilities and help members build confidence through structured coaching and community support.

We offer flexible hours, free gym membership, uniform provided, and opportunities to develop coaching skills within an established team and community-focused schedule.

Qualifications

• Level 2 Fitness Instructor is required.
• Level 3 Personal Training is preferred.
• A genuine passion for coaching and helping people achieve goals.

Responsibilities

• Deliver engaging, well-coached group fitness classes.
• Help members train safely, confidently and effectively, adapting exercises for different abilities.
• Create a welcoming environment where members feel part of the community.
• Set up and clear equipment, keep sessions organized and running smoothly.
• Maintain high standards of cleanliness, safety and professionalism.
• Build positive relationships with members and contribute to their experience and retention.
• Work collaboratively with the coaching team to deliver high-quality sessions.
• Get involved in gym events, competitions and community activities.
