Job summary

TeacherActive are recruiting for an English Teacher to work across partner secondary schools in Macclesfield. We'll place qualified or Early Career Teachers for day-to-day supply, longer assignments or permanent roles.

You will teach English to pupils aged between 11 and 16+, plan lessons, assess progress and contribute to a supportive learning environment. The role starts September 2026 and offers daily rates of £160-£200 depending on experience.

Qualifications

• Qualified English teachers or Early Career Teachers welcomed.
• Experience in secondary education preferred.
• Ability to engage pupils aged 11-16+ with varied ability levels.

Responsibilities

• Deliver English lessons to students aged 11-16+.
