Job summary

Qualifications

• FRCEM or equivalent required for consultant level.
• UK specialist register in Emergency Medicine or entry within 6 months.
• Provider status in ALS/ATLS/APLS is essential.
• Understanding NHS hospital structures and leadership involvement.
• Instructor status in ALS/ATLS/APLS is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Work across all areas of the Emergency Department and support the main ED rota, including evenings, weekends and on-call.
• Join a team of consultants with subspecialty PEM training and collaborate with paediatric consultants and GPs.
• Participation in teaching, governance and quality improvement initiatives.
• Flexible arrangements considered for part-time up to discussions with Clinical Director.
